11 days / 9 nights - 3 nights in Lisbon, 1 night in Porto and 5 nights in Madeira in 4 * hotels
Day 1, Friday - Departure from the United States.
Day 2 Saturday - arrival in Lisbon, followed by half day sightseeing tour. Transfer and accommodation at the 4 * hotel. Dinner is not included in the day of arrival. You will see one of the most distinctive cities in Europe, where you can travel not only in space but also in time.
Baixa (Lower Town), a lively shopping area, built on the well-developed, "absolutely geometric" plan using unique technology after the 1755 earthquake . Day 3, Sunday -Breakfast at the hotel. Afternoon half day excursion to Mafra and Queluz
Dinner with Fado romances.
Day 4, Monday - breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour to Sintra and Cobo da Roca.
Dinner at the hotel. You will visit the Cape Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent, and the fairy-tale town of Sintra, a medieval royal residence.
Day 5. Tuesday - Breakfast at the hotel. A trip to Porto through Fatima, a half-day excursion with wine tasting in the famous port wine cellars.
Lunch in a typical restaurant and a cruise on the River - cruseiro on Douro
Walking tour of Porto center, "northern capital" of the country. You will see the "rail palace" - Sao Bento railway station, decorated with panels of tiles;visit the wine cellars where the most famous Portuguese wine is being aged. Taste Port Wine - Vinho do Porto
Day 6 - Wednesday- full-day excursion to Braga and Guimaraes Transfer to the airport and flight to Madeira in the evening . Transfer and accommodation at the selected hotel
Day 7 Thursday A fascinating route along West Coast starts with a stop in Camara de Lobos, a typical fishing village, acquainting us with the life and lifestyle of the local fishermen. Nearby is the famous factory for the production of wine Madeira Henriques & Henriques. It offers the opportunity to taste both young and aged wines. After lunch climb to the plateau Paul da Serra (1500m above sea level) along the scenic mountain road Day 8 Friday - out into the ocean for whales for 3 hours
Day 9 Satuday - day for rest.
Day 10 Sunday full day tour along the east coast of Madeira in Santana.
The tour begins with a stop in the village of Camacha, where you can meet with one of the traditional local crafts - weaving from willow twigs. . Then begins the ascent to the highest point of the island, which can still be reached by car - Pico do Areeiro. From here we go to the very east of the island -. Day 11, Monday - breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and flight home through Lisbon.
