Beijing - Xian -  - Hangzhou - Vuzhen - Suzhou -  Shanghai

DESCRIPTION of the TOUR in RUSSIAN

1-st day.
Flight from the USA. 

2-nd day. Beijing.
Arriving to  Beijing International  Airport. Meeting  with Russian speaking  guide.  Welcoming   dinner (Peking  duck ).  Overnight in  Beijing.   

3-rd day. Beijing.

 After   breakfast   we will  see the new Olympic stadium “Nyaochao - Bird Nest” - the main sport construction of the Olympic 2008.   After    making some pictures   we will leave for  Great Wall - one of Seven Wonders of the World .   Then  visit   the pearl or jade  factory   where we will be able to purchase  some natural items .

 On the way back to Beijing we will visit the Sacred Way - the immense lane of marble sculptures, which leads to the graves of the   Min dynasty Emperors.

  Overnight  in Beijing. 

 4-th day. Beijing.

This day will completely dedicated to acquaintance with Beijing. From the morning - excursion around the Forbidden city (Emperor Palace) -  the most extensive palace complex in the world, which is in the center of Beijing. The palace complex adjoins the Tyananmen Square - largest in the world.

 Visit Beihai park  and  Beihai  lake .

 Hutong quarter, where old Beijing structures on the narrow streets were preserved. Rickshaw tour  followed by  special   acrobatic  show     . Overnight in Beijing.

5-th day. Beijing.

 After breakfast we will leave hotel to continue acquaintance with Beijing and environments.   Visit   the Temple  of Heaven which .was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998    and Lama  Temple (.temple and monastery  of Tibetan Buddhism located in the northeastern part of Beijing ) 

  Toward the evening we   will  be transfered  to the railroad station,  and  leave for Xian. Overnight in the   Beijing - Xian. train. 

6-th day. Xian.

You will arrive to Xian approximately at 8 A.M., and   transfer to   hotel   After breakfast you will   visit     the newest attractions of modern China,   Terracotta Worriers  -collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of China.

 At  the moment  advanced for review  are almost  7000 sculptures of soldiers and horses.

 On the way back into the hotel we will visit the City Wall and the local Muslim Quarter. Overnight in  Xian.  

7-th day. Hangzhou  

After breakfast you will be directed to the local airport  to fly  to  Hangzhou.-  the  most  beautiful  city in the world as praised by Marco Polo.Upon arrival  we will  cruise  the  scenic West  Lake  and  visit  the  famous Leifeng Pagoda .     Overnight in   Hangzhou

8-th day. Hangzhou - Suzhou

 After  breakfast    visit  Longjing  tea  farm   and  transfer  to  wonderful water  village - Wuzhen, where  is  a beautiful place  to see  the  local  life. Continue to Suzhou , often  referred to  as   "Venice  of  the east " .Evening  tour on Jinji Lake area. Overnight in  Suzhou.

 9-th day.  Suzhou

After  breakfast  visit the Panmen area followed  by  the  visit  to one of  famous  Suzhou  gardens. Small  boat  tour   at  the Grand  Canal and   then  visit  the   local  silk embroidery  factory .Overnight in  Suzhou.

  10-th day.  Shanghai

After breakfast we will  take  a bus  ride  to Shanghai  - China,s largest city, upon arrival    visit  the   famous Bund - shopping  area,  the  bustling  Nanjind  Road   and  well- known  Shanghai Museum of Art  and History,  which   ranks  among  the  great  museums  of  the  world.  Overnight in  Shanghai

  11-th day. Shanghai

  After  breakfast  visit  the  TV  tower  to  have  a panoramic view over  the  great  city.  Visit Jade Buddha  Temple- founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues .  Overnight in  Shanghai

12-th day.  Shanghai

 After  breakfast  visit  the  local market   for  the  last  shopping  . Transfer  to  the  airport  and  fly  back to  USA .
